About Us
The inaugural meeting of “The Prudence Social Club”, United Kingdom was held on the 9th of March 2003 at 92 Plummer Road, Clapham Park Estate, London SW4 8LT.
The invitation to the inauguration meeting, written by Mr. Funso Akintokun, was sent to 10 individuals of which 9 attended.
At the inaugural meeting, Mr. Funso Akintokun told the invitees of his vision and used the opportunity to inform members that the Club would be Social and Charity oriented.
As of today, the Club has 15 outstanding members drawn from different backgrounds and businesses.
Aims and Objectives
- To promote Welfare, Friendship and Understanding
- To seek and explore any legitimate business opportunities for its members
- To carry out charitable works
- To influence positively in political decisions that may affects us as members of the Society most especially in Nigeria.
Membership is subject to approval prior to making an application to the Club. A potential member must be 25 years of age and of good character. A registration fee is payable upon acceptance while a monthly due is also charged to run the Club.
